Bread Club will be at a different location and time this weekend! It will be held in a dear friend’s home in Sunnyside (please contact me by email for the address) on Sundayevening from 7-9pm. I will be baking up a storm all day so the house should be saturated with fresh yummy goodness come evening. And if the weather is pleasing we can relax on the beautiful, red-tulip surrounded patio with some homemade lemonade!

If all goes well I will be baking the following breads: multi-grain, currant-oat, wild rice, honey-spelt (wheat-free), country rye with toasted sunflower seeds, miller’s loaf (a mix of wheat, rye, spelt, and barley flours), and potato-herb.

There will also be various treats and crackers for sale as well.

I look forward to seeing you Sunday! Until then, be well and nourish yourself.

[Do let me know if you have any comments/suggestions/requests/dietary requirements/cravings, etc. I would love to accommodate!]

Bread will be available for pick up this friday/saturday/sunday at the same location (in the freezer in the back) as the previous Black Diamond Bread Clubs.

Varieties include: 100% Spelt, Country Rye with Toasted Sunflower Seeds, Millet Raisin, Flax, and Potato. Please forgive the fact that this week they are frozen loaves. I am still on a learning curve, and as a result had a lot of bread leftover from the May long weekend bread club here in Calgary.

I hope everyone is enjoying the rain… it’s a great excuse to cozy up with a cup of tea – and a warm slice of toast with butter and jam!

Bread Club will be taking place this Sunday from 11am until 2pm at the same location (my home).  If you haven’t been to Matters of the Hearth Bread Club yet and you need directions, email me and I will happily send you a map.

I’m grateful for everyone’s enthusiastic support. (Maybe I should mention here that I’ve sold out of bread the past two weeks, so come early to get your favourite loaves – and fresh scones!)
