My intention is to use this space to share my love of everything pertaining to matters of the hearth. I’m excited to write about my experiences in the literal hearth (“home”), including cooking, baking, gardening, crafts, etc., as well as the poetic hearth of my spirit, which may include anything in the realm of the heart – which is infinite!

Believe me Katrina, your dream come true, is also a dream fulfilled by those of us who have found your Bread Club. What a blessing to find such nutritious offerings in such tasty loaves. Thank you.
My dear “little” cousin Katrina,
I just want you to know how proud I am of you and your accomplishments! My only request….bring your amazingness HERE! Being in the naturopathic field and coming from a city which gets made fun of for being all about “organic”, “vegan”, and “gluten free”, I have a great appreciation for what you are doing..even if I can’t partake as of yet:) I only hope that someday I can use you as a resource for my patients! Keep up the wonderful work you do and know that you and your endeavors are greatly appreciated (and admired!) even by those hundreds of miles away…
Love, your cousin Mandy
Katrina! Congratulations on this! So nice to have an update on what you are doing (via your mom and FB). I wish I could try your gluten-free baking. I am one of those who can no longer enjoy my mom’s home baked cinnamon buns, or French bread, or stone-ground sourdough. Maybe one day I will get back to Alberta and look you up.
Love, Rea
Congratulations on achieving your dreams Katrina.
It is obvious this is your passion. I am grateful someone is making gluten free options that taste SO good. Your gluten free banana bread is awesome.
Wishing you continued success. Hugs.
Dearest Sweet Katrina,
Watching you manifest your heart’s desire and dreams in the form of this bread club has been an utter JOY! I celebrate you and what you are doing – what a gift to your community. And to yourself, one of the greatest things we can do in this life, I believe, is to pursue our dreams whole-heartedly and do the things we love with passion!
I’ve been blessed enough to taste your cooking and baking since you were a wee one standing on a stool to be able to reach while stirring or kneading, and for this I am forever grateful!
With all my love and abundant blessings for this bread club dream come true,
Your adoring sister,
Heather

hello Katrina
Hopefully this is not getting to you late. I would like two loafs, a rye and oat bread. If this is getting to you late I will except whatever bread you have made extra of.
